Jill Worsley Directs Season 2
of Amazon Prime’s 007: Road to a Million
We are thrilled to hear that Jill Worsley, director of #ASFF2023 screened comedy Choked Up (2023), is helming season 2 of Amazon Prime’s 007: Road to a Million. In a series of challenges masterminded by The Controller, played by Brian Cox (known for Succession, Braveheart), nine contestants battle it out to win the £1,000,000 cash prize.

Samantha Moore’s Stop-Motion
Documentary Screened at The BFI
Last year, Samantha Moore shared her BAFTA-nominated stop motion documentary Visible Mending, which invites us to hear the experiences of people who use knitting as a therapeutic tool. The short film screened as part of the BFI’s Stop Motion programme in Stop Motion-Shorts Scene. It’s amazing to witness it connect with even bigger audiences!

Failbetter Games is Set
To Release its First TTRPG
Failbetter Games is teaming up with tabletop roleplaying giants Magpie Games (Avatar Legends, Root) to create Fallen London: The Roleplaying Game. We had the joy of sharing Mask of the Rose at our first ever games lab and can’t wait to play this release! Set in the Fallen London universe, PCs are unified by a shared, nearly unachievable, goal.
Debbie Howard Wins
Best Director at Oxford Shorts
Ending August with another film festival win, Debbie Howard won Best Director at Oxford Short Film Festival. It was a night of recognition for a film that has been creating buzz across UK film festivals, being nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Actress for actress Laura Bayston. Congratulations to the team that brought this project to life!
