Festival Producer

Freelance Position
Fee: £8,000, approx. 3 month’s work until 30 November.
Part Time (Approx. 3 – 4 days per week but Full Time at the run-up to the Festival).

We are inviting application for a Festival Producer to join our team and help manage the running of the Aesthetica Short Film Festival in November 2021.

You will work with our Industry Associates and internal teams and become the point-of-contact for our Industry Speakers and Delegates. You will plan, contact, confirm and timetable the speakers, networking sessions and panel discussions, and set up the contracts, acquire assets, arrange travel and hospitality, update the website and communications, and ensure the smooth running of the programme.

We are looking for someone highly motivated and well organised person with a can-do attitude capable of problem solving and experience working with festivals, tight deadlines and content. The festival will be both virtual and in-venue, and this position will require some home working and some working from our office in York.

Junior Designer

Freelance Position
Part-Time, Remote Working
£22,000pa (pro rata, paid hourly)

We are looking for a junior designer to join our team on a freelance basis to work with us on the art and culture magazine, Aesthetica, as well as related projects, including the Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Art Prize, Future Now Symposium and Creative Writing Award.

This is continuous, short-term contract work and consists of helping the in-house Design Team with making assets and materials. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop and have experience working with both print and digital design.
