5 Titles from the Games Lab to Transport You
We are the first UK film festival to develop a dedicated space for games as part of our public programme. Our Games Lab is a space where leading innovators come together to showcase their work, reach new audiences and generate new ideas. Today, we are highlighting five brilliant games that have exhibited at Aesthetica over the past couple of years. Phoenix Springs (2024)

South of the Circle (2022)

South of the Circle is a narrative experience about the emerging relationship between Peter and Clara, two Cambridge academics caught in the middle of a political conflict. The game focuses on their career and love.

SCHiM (2024)

Schim are the souls of objects or living beings that live in the shadows. Everything has one and they should never be separated. Players must work to guide a schim around the shadows in order to reunite with their thing.
