Sarah Gavron

Sarah was nominated for a BAFTA and BIFA for her 2007 work, Brick Lane. Her most recent work, Rocks, premiered at Toronto Film Fest in 2019, and won Best British Independent Film at the 2019 BIFAs. Her most decorated work, Suffragette, has received over 11 nominations and awards. Sarah previously worked for the BBC for three years as a documentary filmmaker.
