Pitching is an essential skill. The ability to discuss your film is crucial, whether you’re seeking funding, looking to build your team or searching for a distributor. Successful pitches include being able to summarise a film’s key subject matter, the landscape and narrative, whilst identifying its potential within the wider market and what it could achieve at other film festivals. Pitches are also useful for offering essential feedback that can help you develop.
