The Guardian’s documentary slate foregrounds urgent stories from filmmakers around the world. As we face the climate emergency and the cost of living crisis, storytellers hold those in power to account and inspire us into action for a better future. But, which stories should we tell? Lucy Jane and Joya Berrow, directors of Digital Divide (2023), as featured in this year’s festival, will join Guardian Video Producer John Domokos and Head of Documentaries Lindsay Poulton to share their journey, offering tips for socially driven film.
