In 2017, Rico launched CineQ – a queer film festival that prioritises queer and trans Black, Indigenous and people of colour. Rico was formally the Race Equality Lead for the BFI and is now the Skills and Training Director at Warner Bros Discovery. This role includes working to bring a critical perspective into conversations about race.
