Immersing an audience in an environment opens up a wealth of storytelling possibilities. ASFF introduces new digital playgrounds for a second year, offering a completely innovative viewing experience for 2019’s audiences.
Kohtulaulu (Wombsong), directed by Hanna Väsinsalo is a study of expecting life. Baby’s first contact with a tightly embracing, large and mysterious being is as much a mystery as the dancer’s relationship to the budding life inside.
Kohtulaulu (Wombsong) is screening as part of Virtual Reality 4: Breaking Free: Experimental Stories. It will be shown in the Keregan Room of The York Theatre Royal on Wednesday 6 November (13:00-13:45; 19:00-19:45), Thursday 7 November (11:00-11:45;17:00-17:45), Friday 8 November (11:00-11:45; 17:00-17:45; 22:00-22:45); Saturday 9 November (14:00-14:45; 20:00-20:45) and Sunday 10 November (12:00-12:45).
