The BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival will be held from 3 – 6 November in York, and brings a programme of outstanding short films from around the world to audiences alongside a dynamic series of 25 industry masterclasses, plus networking sessions, guest screenings and panel discussions. The festival has a strong industry focus, and provides filmmakers with many opportunities to develop their knowledge and understanding of film, as well as explore best practice in directing, editing, cinematography, screen writing and much more.

Creative England will return for their third year with a showcase at ASFF 2016.

Currently open for entries, ASFF is looking for new filmmaking talent and wants to hear from all filmmakers, emerging or established.
