Filmmaker Interviews: Riley Sugars

Set in late 1960s Australia. Henry and his father George are two very different kinds of men. But the pressures presented by an overbearing father divert both their futures in new ways. In this interview Riley Sugars, Director, discusses the sense of nostalgia that inspired his drama short Rabbits.

Riley Sugar’s short film screens at ASFF 2019 in our Official Selection as part of Drama 7: Family Ties. It will be shown on Thursday 7 November at Everyman Cinema (11:30-13:00), Friday 8 November at York Theatre Royal Studio (21:30-23:00) and Sunday 10 November at King’s Manor (13:00-14:30).
