Diana Olifirova is an award-winning cinematographer working across narrative, shorts, music and commercials. Her credits include Heartstopper (Netflix), We Are Lady Parts (Channel 4), The Baby (HBO/Sky) and Two Single Beds, starring Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya. In this talk, Olifirova discusses the need for collaboration, improvisation and play in cinematography. She talks about the different approaches to storytelling through camera movement, considering her work on hit TV shows as well as more personal projects which explores culture, memory and sense of self.
