So You Want to Make Your Own Augmented Reality? Reshaping Our World

5 November | 16:30-18:30 | York Theatre Royal Studio
In the world AR, the images of places, objects and people are expanded, distorted, reshaped and amplified. AR differs from VR in that it doesn’t replace reality, but, rather, diversifies its boundaries. Reality is enhanced, with a system of overlaid sensory information, which can be either constructive (adding to the environment) or destructive (masking the environment). In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of Augmented Reality: its core principles and codes of interactivity. Participants must bring their own laptops to take part.
