Kids’ Workshops: How to Make a Film (Ages 10-14)
6 November | 10:00 | York St John Creative Centre
This workshop will help young participants harness their creativity to tell meaningful stories. You will work with Spark Media Arts to learn the skills of directing, editing and storytelling. You will be inspired to collaborate with peers to create films that are reflective of what is means to be a young person today. Every participant will develop skills as a director, camera operator, first assistant director and clapper loader. They will gain an insight into the professional filmmaking process, focusing on techniques and skills that work on smart phones and tablets to ensure there are skills to take away.
