Andrew Kötting is a multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker and writer who first came to prominence with his debut feature film Gallivant, which won Channel 4’s Director’s Award at Edinburgh International Film Festival. Kötting’s work has moved from absurdist live-art pieces, to darkly comic shorts, to award-winning features. Join him in conversation with James Boaden, Senior Lecturer, History of Art (University of York) as they discuss an approach which combines history and folklore to explore themes of identity and belonging.
