As a BAFTA-longlisted Director of Photography, Sashi Kissoon works across drama, music video and advertising. He has developed an expert skill-set in producing evocative images and using camera movement to enhance a film’s story. He has worked for renowned companies including BBC, HBO and Big Talk, and is known for working on Netflix’s upcoming The Three-Body Problem and Roy Williams’ Death of England: Face to Face (2021), which was nominated for Best Single Drama at this year’s BAFTAs. In this session, Kisson will talk about the importance of framing, lighting and lens, and provide his top tips on how to devise successful images, no matter the budget, equipment or timeframe.
