Tom Kingsley is a BAFTA-winning film and television director, known for creating the second half of the BBC’s This is Going to Hurt, starring Ben Whishaw, adapted from the best-selling book by Adam Kay. He directed Jamie Demetriou’s triple-BAFTA-winning comedy Stath Lets Flats for Channel 4 as well as 13 episodes of the BBC’s Ghosts. He also won the Evening Standard’s Best Newcomer in 2012 for the feature film Black Pond. In this illuminating session, Kingsley talks about how to construct, and pull off, award-winning comedy.
