Originally from France, Production Designer Stéphane Collonge came to the UK in 1995 where he completed his education at the National Film and Television School.
He now lives in London, working across film and television drama. He has designed multiple award winning features including My Brother the Devil by Sally El Hosaini, Francis Lee’s God’s Own Country and Bypass directed by Duane Hopkins.
Throughout his career Collonge has collaborated with director Joanna Hogg on a number of her features, including Exhibition, Archipelago and more recently The Souvenir, which won the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at Sundance and for which Stéphane received a nomination for Best Production Design at the BIFAs.
Recently Collonge designed television drama Trigonometry for the BBC and director Rachel Athina Tsangari, the sequel to Hogg’s The Souvenir and Clio Barnard’s latest feature, Ali & Ava.
