Curate Your Own Festival at Videotheque

ASFF’s Videotheque is a great place to sit down and indulge in film after film. Videotheques are fantastic resources for anyone looking for inspiration. The entire festival is at your fingertips and you are invited to explore each category by genre. Grab your festival programme and create your own programme. The Videotheque is open from Thursday 9 November until Sunday 12 November and a series of computers in which you are invited to sit down and watch films to your heart’s delight.
This venue is popular and the Videotheque is loved, so we do ask that you curb your session to one hour to allow others the chance to experience it. You can return as many times as you like throughout the festival weekend.  It is located in York Explore, which is the city’s central library. Walk through the library to the back of the building and you’ll see the suite.
Whilst you’re in York Explore, please also take the opportunity to visit Playback, which is an installation of 200 films co-produced by the ICA London and Channel 4’s Short Form Strand, Random Acts. There is also a Random Acts North Showcase on Friday 10 November at York Theatre Royal.
Explore’s opening times are:

Thursday: 09:00-19:30
Friday: 10:00-17:30
Saturday: 09:00-16:30
Sunday: 11:00-15:30
