22 Days To Go: Aesthetica Short Film Festival Call for Entries – Animation

With 22 days left to enter short films into BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival, we highlight 2014’s animation winner and overall festival winner, Coda by Alan Holly. This highly acclaimed film was shortlisted for the 87th Academy Awards and nominated for the 42nd Annual Annie Awards.

Coda is a poignant and evocative exploration of life, loss and shared human experience. A lost soul stumbles drunkenly through the city, where Death finds him and shows him many things. A hand-drawn film voiced by Brian Gleeson and Orla Fitzgerald.

ASFF 2015 provides a unique platform for filmmakers at all levels in their career to showcase their talent to a wider audience. Confirmed guests so far include masterclass speakers from Warp, Channel 4, Association of Camera Operators (Harry Potter, Elizabeth), Framestore (Björk, Gravity, Guardians of the Galaxy) and more, proesenting great ways to interact with industry leaders.
