There’s now only 14 days to go until the deadline for submissions for the 2015 festival. We count down to the 31 May by highlighting films from ASFF’s Official Selection from previous years. The BAFTA Qualifying festival offers a unique platform for filmmakers at all levels in their career to showcase their talent to a wider audience.
Today, we shine the spotlight on Australian drama Snowblind. This 15-minute short from director Sean Kruck unravels over the course of a weekend. Lead character Jack negotiates loves, his family and the slippery slope of adolescence in a deeply moving film that connects with a variety of audiences.
ASFF provides a unique platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their talent to a wider audience. Confirmed guests so far include masterclass speakers from Channel 4, The Association of Camera Operators (Harry Potter, Elizabeth), Framestore (Björk, Gravity, Guardians of the Galaxy) and more, presenting great ways to interact with industry leaders.
