The Aesthetica Short Film Festival alumnus Rhiannon Evans has announced the online release of short animation Fulfilament, which was selected for the festival’s Official Selection in 2015. In the short film, a lightning bolt from a brainstorm cloud creates a little, lost thought who just wants to find a place to belong but instead discovers what it takes to become a great idea.
ASFF 2017 is now open for entries, presenting an opportunity for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their films to a wider audience. As well as winning multiple screenings at the festival, prizes include Festival Winner Award and The Northern Film School Award for Best Screenplay. Both offer £1,000 to the winner. There is also an opportunity to gain further exposure through ASFF and Aesthetica’s print and online channels.
