Arrive by Road
York is easily accessible from the UK motorway network.
From London, travel north on the M1 or A1 until you reach the A64 intersection. The city is 15 minutes away via dual carriageway.
From Edinburgh, travel south on the A1 until you reach the A64 intersection.
From the west, travel on the M62 and join the M1 northbound until you reach the A64 intersection.
You can also arrive at York on the A19, A59, A1079 and A166 routes.
Frequent Park & Ride bus services operate into the city centre from sites adjacent to the A64, A19, A1079 and A1237.
Arrive by Eurostar
Regular trains leave from Paris Gare du Nord and Brussels Midi for London St Pancras station and takes approximately 3 hours. For more information and tickets, please visit www.eurostar.com.
From St Pancras station, take the short walk next door to Kings Cross Station.
You can get to York by the East Coast Main Line, which takes less than two hours.
York railway station is situated in the centre of the city and is within walking distance to all venues.
Arrive by Train

York railway station is situated in the centre of the city and is within walking distance to all venues.

Arrive by Air
York is easily accessible via Leeds Bradford International Airport, Manchester International Airport, as well as Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Leeds Bradford International Airport is a 45 minute drive from York via the A64 route. There is also a regular bus service from the airport to Leeds Railway Station, where you can catch a train directly to York.
Manchester International Airport is a two hour drive from York via the M62 route. There is also a regular and direct train service from the airport to York.
If arriving from Heathrow or Gatwick airports, take the underground to Kings Cross Station where you can catch the train directly to York.
Arrive by Sea

From Hull, York is a one hour drive via the A1079 route. There are also frequent and direct bus and train services available.
