Film, Storytelling & the Future of Moving Image

Welcoming a dynamic array of organisations from across the UK, our Special Showcase Screenings provide audiences with an opportunity to view some of the best and brightest works being produced by emerging filmmakers. One of the many acclaimed and talent-filled organisations included within this year’s screenings is Norwich University of the Arts.

Post-showcase, there will be a discussion entitled Film, Storytelling & the Future of Moving Image. Is the traditional “film school” model of short film production still relevant today and can it really prepare students for future modes of storytelling? Join lecturers and alumni from the BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production at Norwich University of the Arts for this post-screening discussion, exploring the future of storytelling and its relevance to industry-focused higher education.

Saturday 5 November.
Reel Cinema 14:00 – 16:00
