Kate is the iFeatures Executive at Creative England having worked on the last three iterations of the programme. iFeatures is a UK wide low budget feature film development initiative aimed at first and second-time feature filmmakers funded by Creative England, BFI Film fund and BBC Films. Kate takes overall responsibility for the design and running of iFeatures, including managing the submission, development and production process.

As well as managing the initiative she also feeds in to the development of the projects, working alongside writers, directors and producers. Kate has also worked across TV Drama projects for eOne. This has seen her working with writers and production companies developing original programmes for International broadcast. She continues to be a freelance Script Editor across TV projects.

Kate previously worked for Lifesize pictures exec producing short films on new talent schemes such as Cinema Extreme and Digital Shorts for the UK Film council. She has worked with filmmakers from all across the UK, script editing shorts and managing national programmes such as the UK Film Council’s Directors Lab at EIFF. Kate also works as a freelance reader for book scout Kate Loftus O’Brien.
