Banyak Films

Anson has made films since childhood; whether fiction or documentary the stories they tell always reveal the extraordinary in our everyday lives, and deliver central messages that challenge humanity’s wider preconceptions. Anson’s Directing and Producing work ranges from commercials to feature length films and everything in-between.

Highlights include the BBC’s A World In Photographs narrated by Alan Bennett, Al Jazeera’s urgent story of environmental resistance Take The Power Back and Film 4’s inspiring feature doc Ping Pong, which was released in cinemas across Europe, North America and Asia. Based in Dorset and London, Anson develops his films through Banyak Films, a company which he co-founded in 2008.
