ASFF: Music Video Highlights

ASFF 2013 welcomed thousands of visitors across the four day festival in York, UK, drawn to the city-wide cinema event because of its dynamic programming and flare for innovation. Screening 300 films from 36 countries, ASFF champions rising talent in filmmaking from across the world in a variety of genres.

One strand of the festival showcased music videos, including Lilies, the music video for Bat for Lashes and Call Me In The Afternoon for Canadian trio Half Moon Run. ASFF 2014 is now accepting film submissions in the categories of Music Video; Drama; Documentary; Experimental; Comedy; Animation; Artists’ Film; Advertising; Fashion and Thriller. We list a selection of outstanding music videos presented at ASFF 2013 in anticipation of this year’s edition.
