The atmospheric and historic streets of York are home to a vast range of independent bars, traditional pubs, cafes and venues, all helping to give the city the unique feel that makes it such an ideal setting to host a film festival and welcome visitors from around the globe.
Located in the heart of “The Quarter”, the streets and snickleways around Swinegate and Stonegate, which offer a melting pot of places to drink, dine and dance, you will find 1331, ASFF’s official restaurant and bar, and the venue for the Friday Night Party, when the festival weekend really gets started.
A maze of rooms around a courtyard and “secret garden”, 1331 is a rabbit warren of activity all day and night, serving food and a great selection of drinks, and it even has its own cinema, acting as one of our festival venues.
Reconnect with friends old and new and celebrate a memorable weekend of film, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Admission free with festival pass. www.1331-york.co.uk
