ASFF 2015 Official Selection Trailer: Mental Space, by Director Toby Tatum

Commissioned for the Institute for the Investigation of Other Worlds, director Toby Tatum’s short film, Mental Space, screened at the BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival in 2015. The 7-minute artists’ film encourage viewers to follow a stream of consciousness deep into a world transformed by the shaping spirit of the imagination. Tatum’s Monsters, which portrays a monstrous garden, where stone dinosaurs are enlivened by rampant foliage and gargantuan flowers, also appeared in the festival’s Official Selection in 2014.
