3 Days To Go: Aesthetica Short Film Festival Call for Entries – Drama

There’s 3 days to go until the deadline for submissions for the BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF). We count down to the 31 May by highlighting a film from the Official Selection; today offering you the chance to watch the trailer for drama Lay Me Down by Lucy Tcherniak.

Produced by Run Rabbit Films, Lay Me Down explores the curious relationship between two girls. Lily and Penny are bound together by a horrible truth. To lift the terrible burden she carries, Lily must take action. The 11-minute short appeared in the drama strand at ASFF in 2013.

ASFF 2015 will provide a unique platform for filmmakers at all levels in their career to showcase their talent to a wider audience. Confirmed guests so far include masterclass speakers from BAFTA, Channel 4, Association of Camera Operators (Harry Potter, Elizabeth), Framestore (Björk, Gravity, Guardians of the Galaxy) and more, highlighting great ways to interact with industry leaders.
